Mission Statement

The A.A.M.C. represents a fellowship of health professionals, patients, educators, clergy, caregivers and community members. Included in A.A.M.C. memberships are experts in the field of, cannabis medicine, including clinical applications, cultivation, history and medical preparations.The primary mission of the A.A.M.C. is patient advocacy, patient rights and support. Additional aspects of the A.A.M.C. mission include clinical research and educating decision makers.

Philosophy

We, of the El Dorado County A.A.M.C., believe that our strength as an organization lies in our diversity… diversity of education… of profession… of ability, belief, background and personality. Every one of us brings our own unique self and contributions to this assembly. It is up to each member to determine his or her level and areas of participation and responsibility. Every one of us is valuable and valued. Thank you all!

Our National Website is : www.LetFreedomGrow.com and is an Excellent starting place to nurture your curiosity with regard to Medical Cannabis.We would be delighted to welcome you to our meetings. We meet at the Garden Valley Grange, found at 4940 Marshall Road, Garden Valley, from 2:15 pm to 4:20 pm on the fourth Saturday of each month, except December. More detailed directions follow:

  1. From Interstate 80 in Auburn, take the Elm Ave. exit. Turn east on Elm and go to High Street (which is Hwy. 49): turn left. Follow 49 into the American River canyon, turn right and cross the bridge. Continue about 3 miles to Cool, where a flashing red light marks the intersection of 49 and 193. Stay on 49 to Coloma, about 7 miles
  2. Turn left at Marshall Road (at the Coloma Club). In about 5 miles, a stop sigh marks Garden Valley Road. Start looking for the Grange or A.A.M.C. sign on your left just past this intersection, staying on Marshall Road.
  3. From Highway 50, take Ponderosa Road exit in Shingle Springs. From Sacramento, turn left over the highway to the signal light, and turn right onto Lotus Road, which ends at Hwy 49 with the river on your left. At this stop sign, turn left onto hwy 49 and go ¼ mile to Marshall Road/ Coloma Club. Turn right onto Marshall Road, and follow the directions above (number 2.) see map
